Making a Purchase

Making a purchase could not be simpler, select whether you require Edible Icing or Edible Wafer Paper from the drop down box,where applicable, add your message where applicable then add the item(s) you wish to buy by adding them to your 'shopping cart' one at a time.

Please make sure you add the correctly spelt wording you would like to appear on your topper in the box provided and then click buy now.

When you are done, click 'checkout' and choose your postal method, then proceed with, which login option you would like to, either new or exisiting customer.

After you have either logged in to your existing account or set one up, you can make your payment.  After paying, please make sure you RETURN TO OUR SITE when instructed as there will be delays in processing your order.

All toppers are designed and printed to order using edible ink, edible icing sheets or edible wafer paper.

The design may vary slighty and the colours used may also vary from those shown on our toppers on the website.  When printed colours may darken and appear different due to printing on icing with edible inks.  This is out of our control and we can NEVER guarantee a colour match on these items.  We can only print as close as the edible inks will allow.

You don't get the same colours and shades as you would when printing normally on photo glossy paper.

No refund/return will be accepted due to colour irregularities.

We ship Worldwide All items will be packaged in A4 cardboard backed envelopes and any additional packaging necessary to reduce the chance of damage in transit.

We aim to dispatch all orders in line with our processing times (Mon-Fri excluding Bank Holidays) but this is not guaranteed (subject to correct details being received).

Please allow 2 days for orders to be printed and dispatched. Orders which have been placed friday pm onwards,will be despatched Tuesday.  Please pay for special delivery if you need the items before Friday the following week.

Items should arrive within the Royal Mail's timescales, please visit www.royalmail.com for details.  However we cannot guarantee this on behalf of the Royal Mail.

You must wait 15 working days before contacting us about a missing parcel and 20 working days for european orders, only after this time we can file a claim and send out a replacement order.

Standard delivery and Airmail only includes £32 insurance cover, so if you order is over £32 in value then we strongly recommend you send your order with a special delivery which includes £500 insurance.

Returns Policy

We at Cake Topper Designs are confident that you will be happy with your purchase(s) but if your topper arrives with incorrect wording which we have printed wrong we will then send out a replacement.

If this isn't the case no cake toppers can be returned due to food hygiene regulations.

All of our toppers are printed to order and are bespoke and can't be returned if ordered in error.  Nor will we give refunds for items which didn't arrive in time.  Please ensure you allow plenty of time for ordering for your event.  And remember, we don't control Royal Mail.

All of our toppers have a min of 6 month shelf life.

If items are received damaged then we must be contacted within 48 hours of delivery to discuss what is wrong with the item(s). The damaged item(s) will need to be returned to us with all the original packing and parts.
A replacement will then be sent out (subject to stock availability) or if not available then a refund will be given which will include the postage cost originally paid by the customer. Refunds will be issued within 30 days.

If the product is to be returned due to packing error or administrative error you are entitled to a full refund within 7 days.

Please note that if you damage the item in use, we take no responsibility for this and will not issue a refund under any circumstances.  Please ensure that you follow the instructions and remember you can always call us for advice.

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Incorrectly ordered or unwanted goods cannot be returned due to food hygiene reasons.

Only damaged on receipt or faulty items must be returned within 7 days of the date of receipt to be eligible for a refund.
Returning of items is the responsibility of the customer who is liable for the cost of returns.
The customer must ensure all reasonable care is taken to ensure the safe return of items and in their original packaging where appropriate. If the item(s) returned come in sealed packs, these must be unopened.
We cannot be held responsible for packages lost in transit that are returned to us.
It is your responsibility to return the item(s) to us, we therefore recommend that you send the package by Recorded / Special Delivery.

Privacy Policy

We at Cake Topper Designs respect our customers privacy and do not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Any information disclosed to us is only used by us for the order and dispatch process.
The only information that we see is your name, address, phone number and email address.
Your email address may be used to send you a newsletter but only if you subscribed to it, you can also subscribe or unsubscribe at any time by logging in to your account.
The Merchants that we use are Skrill & Paypal whom automatically encrypt your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using 'Secure Sockets Layer Protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits.
